St Austell's location makes it an ideal place for exploring the beautiful county of Cornwall. From superb beaches to rugged cliff top scenery, tropical gardens & quaint fishing villages.
Within a short distance of St Austell is the historic port of 'Charlestown' with its tall ships & maritime museum, the working fishing village of 'Mevagissey', with its narrow streets, picturesque houses & traditional Inns.
The world-renowned gardens of both 'Heligan' & ' the 'Eden Project' are also nearby, all of which can be reached easily by local public transport.
Also within easy reach is the estuary town of 'Fowey' (which was once the home of Daphne du Maurier), the elegant town of 'Truro 'with its fine Cathedral & Georgian architecture.
The beaches of Carlyon bay, Pentewen sands & Porthpean are close at hand & afford clean beaches & safe swimming.
We are close to the South West coast path, which offers some stunning walks. There are several cycle routes nearby & cycles can be hired locally.
All our rooms are on the ground floor (ideal for people with mobility problems), are fully ensuite, centrally heated & furnished to a high standard.
Rooms come equipped with colour digital televisions (Freeview), tea & coffee making facilities, complimentary toiletries, mini safes, ceiling fans, hairdryers & radio alarm clocks. Air-conditioned rooms are also available.
We offer either Twin or Double ensuite rooms ( sole use available at a supplement).

For breakfast we offer the choice of Grapefruit ,Peaches & yoghurt with honey, a selection of cereals fresh fruit, followed by a traditional Full English, a lighter Continental option or a Full Vegetarian- all served with a selection of Teas, Coffee,& Fresh Fruit juices
